BREAKBULK (NOT CONTAINERABLE)

Containerization is great, but sometimes the shipment just won't fit in the container. For cost reasons, we encourage shippers to do whatever they can to reduce or disassemble the goods to fit in the box, but if that is not possible, then breakbulk is the other option. This service is not as frequent or economical as containers, but is available to a great number of destinations.

Since service is dependent on size, shape, weight, special characteristics, etc. it is important to have all that information when planning a shipment. We can then check to see if service is available to the desired destination, and if the loading and unloading facilities are suitable for the goods.

Another variation of breakbulk is RO/RO or roll on/ roll off. This service is for vehicles or equipment that can be driven or towed on and off the vessel. This service is limited, but available.
